I am now able to annoy the world wherever I am thanks to the WordPress app on my mobile. This means my posts will probably become regular again once I find something to blog about.

I’m desperately trying to remove the auction of my kidneys from the black market and eBay since it’s finally pay day. I already sold my patience and common sense a long time ago…

Old habits die hard, as many a wise man has surely said. A fitting phrase that relates to my current state of drunken deabuchery.
However, I’m pleased to have finally sampled my good friend Jeff’s pub quiz, so it was definitely worth it
Not sure I made a worthy contribution to our team “smley face”, but it was a great nite, and I even made some new friends… although alcohol may have made me come across a tad “paranoid” – LOL.
Looking forward to seeing how much better I can do if I manage to stay sober next time
Wanna thank everyone for a great nite, you know who you are – Wish I wasn’t such a caveman, but I’m living proof that even cavemen can enjoy the occasional pub quiz with good company
Keep it real!

I’ve had the most awesome 4 days with my girlfriend Kathryn, it doesn’t get much better than this. Wednesday we went to the pub and watched the World Cup match: Spain v Germany and got a little tipsy, then chilled out to a movie. Thursday we went to Whitby, had a look around, took a few pics and even took a tour ON A BOAT
…then we met my mates in the pub, and went back to mine for Chinese and a movie night! - Friday we went down to Silverstone to watch the Grand Prix practice and got sunburnt and today we cooked Enchiladas and snuggled to another film.
As if that wasn’t awesome enough, I just got off the phone with Bob… and he’s taking me on his bike tomorrow to a motorbiking convention. If you don’t hear from me again, I’ve probably fell off the back of his bike an died
but at least I’ll die happy

For 4 days, duckspace has been offline but I finally got things back up and running again. It was completely my fault since I neglected to pay my hosting fees for the next year. Let’s just say I’ve been a bit distracted lately
Also… I normally use money I get for my birthday to pay these fees, but this year I managed to talk my way into getting a TV and an X-Box. No more sat in the dark so I can watch movies on my projector!!
I realised yesterday that I’ve had duckspace now for 2 years, and it’s taken that long to shape it into something almost useful… it’s thanks to this site that I’ve started getting back into my photography, and dug out some of my old college videos to share with friends / family or anyone who stumbles upon the site.
My next project is to do something similar with the ecotones web site (Bob mentioned this too) and then hopefully we can write some new material… at our last gig on Friday, me & Martin actually ended up bickering over what song we were gonna play during the sound check.

I had one of those weird ideas again today, I was looking for a Japanese music video and since most of the filenames are in Japanese, it was proving tough to find the one I wanted to watch… so I thought to myself – “Wouldn’t it be cool if you could choose a folder on your hard drive and a program loaded split screen videos to preview what’s on there ??”
So I did a bit of coding and created a program that does exactly that. It’s resolution independent and full screen, plus each video can be independently controlled using context menus. The sound can get a bit loud though, so be warned!!
INSTALLATION: Use the setup.msi to install MultiVid.
USE: When you load MultiVid, you will be asked to pick a folder. Choose a folder containing ONLY video files in it and the rest is automatic. Note: It does not include subfolders at present. End the program using [Alt + F4].
After selecting a folder, 20 videos will be randomly selected and played automatically using the unique split screen interface (works best on widescreen resolutions).
